Robert Kisona Cahill

New Zealand born, Samoan jeweller GradDipTchg (Sec), BFA (Jewellery) Director, Allure Jewellery Studio

Having graduated from Otago School of Arts (New Zealand’s first art school established over 150 years ago), Robert found a way to use jewellery as a medium for storytelling.

He relocated to Sydney to train under Noel Froome, a New Zealand Master-Jeweller, who remains his mentor and inspiration. Under Noel’s guidance, Robert quickly understood the dynamics of repairing antique jewellery, which shaped his expert knowledge and skill set of designing and creating high end jewellery.

Since then, Robert has dedicated his professional craft to giving exquisite concepts a contemporary form, revitalising family heirlooms and giving big life moments their origin. Whether he reconditions century old pieces or creates intricate and hand-made engagement rings, Robert’s love for his craft shines through every piece he touches.

The Jewellery Studio

—  Where the magic happens

Born from his desire of creating one-of-a-kind pieces and teaching the ins and outs of jewellery making at all levels, Allure Jewellery Studio is a hidden gem tucked away in the bustling centre of Manly. In the midst of fine tools and heavy machinery, Robert spends early mornings and late nights practising his craft.

An eclectic and contemporary studio, the place is filled with warm light and the distinct sounds of the artists work and playlists. Filled with decades of history, stories of handcrafted pieces and an array of inspiration, the studio will teleport you into the world of metalsmith and jewellery making - the perfect place to begin your journey.
